Slamming those criticizing the soccer player, Farhan Akhtar wrote, "This is a @cristiano Ronaldo appreciation post. This guy has given his life to the game, set standards of skill, athleticism and fitness that most sportspeople can only fantasise about. It¡¯s so easy to tear someone down in a moment when they stop behaving like robots and display human emotion."

Farhan said that in Dil Chahta Hai, which also marked his directorial debut in Bollywood, he didn't like the word ¡®chamkeele¡¯ (which means bright) in its title track as he initially associated it with detergent.??
The actor also revealed that he had an issue with the line ¡®Kabhi na beete ye chamkeele din¡¯ in the song.?¡°I said, ¡®That¡¯s too detergent a word, we can¡¯t have this in song,'¡± Farhan recalled during the interview with the publication.?
