No dream is too small to fulfill, and that is just the gist of the passion and story of Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare, aka Jugaadu Kamlesh.?
Kamlesh recently appeared on Shark Tank India with his partner Naru and pitched an incredible idea in front of 7 sharks in the panel.?
The panel was taken by surprise, as Kamlesh, who doesn't boast of any fancy degree, came up with a solution that would let farmers spray pesticides, sow seeds, and transport goods with the help of a versatile bicycle.?
Kamlesh and his partner pitched an affordable, low-maintenance and innovative product that could change the lives of every farmer in India.?
Kamlesh pitched a unique?pesticide trolley spray.
There is no dearth in the availability of pesticide sprayers for the farmers. However, the biggest challenge remains that most that are cost-effective are to be held on shoulders. Farmers are usually left with no or little choice. In order to solve this problem of father and several other farmers like him, Kamlesh designed a trolley spray, where bottles can be placed. It also has a handle with a sprayer, which makes it easy to use.
Even without any professional degree, Kamlesh designed this unique product in 2014. Kamlesh procured scraps from his nearby scrap dealer. He kept on experimenting and improvising the product. After determination and hard work of 7 years, Kamlesh finally found an opportunity to present it on?Shark Tank.
Peyush Bansal, the co-founder and CEO of Lenskart, was so impressed by Jugaadu Kamlesh that he jumped on to invest in Kamlesh's vision and idea without batting an eyelid.?
"Naukri karunga toh 24 ghante ke liye kisi ka gulam rahunga, aur hum kisan hai hum kisi ke gulam nahi rehna chahte (If I do a job, I will be someone's slave for 24 hours, and we are farmers, we do not want to be someone's slave)."
Well, the world is eagerly waiting to see Jugaadu Kamlesh's magic!?
