¡®Bollywood meets Brooklyn¡¯ says global star Heidi Klum as she addresses India's Got Talent Season 9 winners on her show. Rajasthan-origin beatboxer and flautist duo Divyansh Kacholia and Manuraj Singh Rajput reached the stage of America¡¯s Got Talent All-Stars and made India proud.
The duo who was made a pair by chance on India¡¯s Got Talent 9 as their respective partners couldn¡¯t turn up have now gone global. Not just that, soon after their performance ended, it left the show¡¯s judges Simon Cowell, Heidi and Howie Mandelgive give a standing ovation to the Indian duo.
Their recent performance video that has now surfaced online features Divyansh and Manuraj sharing a back story from their life fast forward to a performance that left everyone mesmerized. Simon Cowell can be seen lauding the two and said that even after finding it difficult to get noticed amongst so much talent around, the Indian duo has managed to create a huge impact.
Divyansh told Indian Express, ¡°It¡¯s always great to represent your country and culture on such a big show. And we are humbled by the love and respect we got on the stage. It¡¯s path-breaking and a happy moment to put India on the map. Since childhood, we have been fans of these shows, and I think at the moment, we haven¡¯t even processed everything.¡±
¡°Honestly, in India, musicians, especially instrumentalists have never gotten their due. When we won India¡¯s Got Talent, we hoped to get our peers the recognition they deserve. We never romanticised our struggles and want our work to always talk for us. I think it has been a revolutionary ride for us and we are excited about the future,¡± he added.
For the unversed, Divyansh and Manuraj have their hands on the background score of Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus. Manuraj recalls that as a memorable moment and quoted back then, ¡°When Rohit Shetty sir came on our show, he was so impressed, he offered us to make the theme music of Cirkus.¡±

Speaking about collaborating with Manuraj, Divyansh told India Today, "Collaborating with Manuraj was fun and entertaining because we are like North and South. But no matter how different we are when it came to music, we are united." The duo were rewarded with Rs 20 lakh prize money on winning IGT 9.
