The original tweet that RGV shared featured Rajamouli and Cameron in conversation with a caption, ¡°If you ever wanna make a movie over here, let's talk"- #JamesCameron to #SSRajamouli. Here¡¯s the longer version of the two legendary directors talking to each other. #RRRMovie.¡±
Quote-tweeting the same, RGV wrote, ¡°From Dada Sahab Phalke onwards till now, no one in the history of Indian cinema including @ssrajamouli could have imagined that an Indian director someday will go through this moment.¡±

He added in another tweet, ¡°Hey @ssrajamouli U basically SURPASSED every film-maker from #KaAsif who made #MughaleAzam till? #RameshSippy who made #Sholay and also the likes of Aditya Chopras, Karan Johars and the bhansalis of India and? I want to suck ur little toe for that.¡±?
In another tweet, RGV warned SS Rajamouli of an ¡®assassination squad¡¯ who has been formed in plans to kill him. RGV wrote, ¡°And sir @ssrajamouli , please increase ur security because there is a bunch of film-makers in India who out of pure jealousy formed an assassination squad to kill you, of which I am also a part ..Am just spilling out the secret because I am 4 drinks down.¡±
In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter, SS Rajamouli was quoted as saying, "I make films for money, I make films for the audiences. I don¡¯t make films for critical acclaim. RRR is a commercial film, and once my film commercially does well, I¡¯m very happy. Awards are an extension to it. It is for the hard work that my unit put in and I¡¯m happy for that."
¡°A storyteller is a very greedy person, He wants his story to be heard by the maximum number of audience, and I am no different. Taking the film to different audiences is one aspect. Second thing is, when you have a story, it dictates whether to go big, very big or go to a small target audience. So if you are not putting your effort to make the story reach the target audience, then you are not doing your job right,¡± Rajamouli concluded.
