John Abraham Feels Young Actors Want To Work With A-List Directors As They Are Afraid Of Failing

With that perfectly sculpted body and a signature smirk, John Abraham has made several women go weak in their knees each time, he appeared on the big screen. Hailed as one of the best action heroes of Bollywood, John has been ruling on people’s hearts for a long time. However, he was missing from the silver screen for about two years before he did Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, which received praises from the audiences as well as critics.

He is now busy with the promotions of his forthcoming movie Satyameva Jayate, in which he is playing the role of a cop. From fighting against corruption, inequality and injustice to performing some high-octane stunts, John has a lot to offer his fans in his next film.

Satyameva Jayate is directed by Milap Zaveri, whose last film Mastizaade had failed at the box office in 2016. The movie stars Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role. When John Abraham was asked if he feels scared to take such risks, here’s what he said.

“It doesn’t matter to me. Abhishek Sharma had Shaukeen before I did Parmanu with him, Shoojit Sircar had Yahaan before I did Vicky Donor and Madras Café with him, Kabir Khan was a war documentary filmmaker before I did Kabul Express and New York for him. I don’t go by people’s track record, I have no fear,” he told Firstpost in an interview.

John also said that the young generation actors only want to work with top-notch directors because they are afraid of failing.

“I understand that today’s young crop of actors only want to work with A-list directors because outside of them, they are scared that they will fail. Without the top-line directors, they will fail, I can guarantee you. They don’t want to work with regular directors. Even as a producer I have no fear of failure because my content is strong and I know that a good director will manage to pull it off. The only actors who will work with new directors are Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. These two will work with anybody and everybody,” he added.

Satyameva Jayate is scheduled to hit the screens on Aug 15.?
