In a latest development, reports suggest that the Johnny Depp visited an Indian restaurant at Birmingham in UK to try out authentic dishes for dinner with his friends just days after marking victory in one of the most controversial high-profile defamation case.?
It has been learned that the actor spent over Rs. 45 lakh ($60,000 approx) on the meal served at the lavish Indian eatery. Pictures available online shows the actor being accompanied by musician Jeff Beck as well.
According to a report published on NY Post, Johnny Depp was spotted hanging out with his 77-year-old friend Jeff Beck, and 20 others in his party at what has been billed as Birmingham's largest Indian restaurant.
Coming back to his trial, Johnny Depp released a statement soon after winning the six-week long defamation trial. Appreciating the jury's judgement in his official release, the actor stated, "Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed,¡± he wrote. "And six years later, the jury gave me my life back, I am truly humbled."?
On the other hand, Amber Heard has expressed disappointment with the verdict and said, "It is a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously."
