In an exclusive interview with indiatimes.com, Shorey said, "The film is a scary reminder of what the future has in store for us."?
The movie tells the story of a blind farmer, played by Mishra. It shows his helplessness after losing his son, who was driven to suicide by drought and debt.?Ranvir Shorey plays a ruthless loan recovery agent who fools the farmers to get money. Shorey tells us that his character is heartless and thinks only about himself, even at the cost of others.
On being asked what made him accept the script, Shorey said,
The actors had to undergo a lot of training to perfect the finer nuances of speech unique to that particular region of Odisha.?
When asked about his approach to his craft, he said,
Regarding the impact such films have on society, he said it would definitely help people to at least think about what is happening.
Regarding his career in film, he says he has had his fair share of ups and downs. What motivates him is the support and love of all the fans and audience he has.
