In conversation with Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert, the Citadel actor reveals being ¡°cornered¡± in Bollywood and how her manager Anjula Acharia helped her move out of the mess. PC shared how Acharia once saw her in a music video and asked her if she is interested in picking up music in the US.
PC shared, ¡°I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people. I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break. This music thing gave me an opportunity to go into another part of the world, not crave for the movies I didn¡¯t want to get but I would require to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people.¡±
Kangana wrote on Twitter, ¡°This is what ?@priyankachopra? has to say about Bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her and chased her out of the film industry¡± a self-made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her.¡±

Well after a long hiatus, Priyanka Chopra is all set to return to Hindi cinema with Farhan Akhtar's directorial Jee Le Zara co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.?Currently, she is looking forward to the release of the Russo Brothers¡¯ much-awaited series Citadel which will stream on Prime Video from April 28.
