In an interview with GQ India, the actor admitted that it is indeed tough for outsiders to get the opportunities to prove their talent. Not just that, he said that outsiders don't even get the recognition they deserve from the industry, and that affects them a lot. One has to fight to be treated equally.??
"I have, in the past, thought about how different my career would have looked had I received the same sort of treatment as someone who has always had a foot in the door. It has taken a lot of introspection and inner work to realize that being an outsider is not a weakness. Everything that I have done so far is a product of my own hard work," he added.?
The actor who made his debut with?Luv Ranjan's Pyaar Ka Punchnama was once asked if he would like his kids to benefit from nepotism and take up acting career like him, he told Youtuber Ranveer Allahabadia, "Abhi toh sabko outsider banna hai. Jo hain bhi wo try karte hai ki outsider hi ho. (Now, everyone wants to be an outsider. Those who are from film families also try they become outsiders).?
Kartik Aaryan has been winning applause for his stellar performance as Paralympic Indian Olympian Murlikant Petkar in his biopic Chandu Champion, a Kabir Khan directorial. He will next be seen in?Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is slated to be released around Diwali 2024.?The Anees Bazmi directorial also stars Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan.
