Bollywood's versatile singer KK has shocked the entire nation with his untimely death in Kolkata on May 31, 2022. The 1990's singing sensation, who has immensely contributed to the Bollywood music industry with some of the most popular songs like Tadap Tadap for Salman Khan's?Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai for Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi's Gangster and Saanson Ke for Shah Rukh Khan's Raees, died on the way to hospital after he fell sick while performing at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.?
According to reports, he was complaining about uneasiness and chest pain before being rushed to the hospital.?Celebrities to India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mamata Banerjee, many paid tribute to the legendary Bollywood singer as they mourned his tragic death.?
"It is very sad for a teacher to lose a student. He was such a remarkable and talented student. He was a Western music singer, but I told him to listen to Indian music and be a part of it, which he did. Later on in life, he told me, ¡®Thank you for inducting me to this music, because this is now my bread and butter'," KK's music teacher from college Sumitra Mohanty told TOI.She further added, "It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to him, it is such a sad day for us, personally. "?
KK¡¯s post-mortem report has confirmed that the singer died after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. He also had chronic liver and lung problems as suggested by his medical report.?
Videos and photos circulated online shows the singer being rushed to the hospital. Some claimed that the singer could have been saved but there was no medical facility or a doctor at the venue where KK was performing.
