Earlier this year, Tamannaah Bhatia took the internet by storm after featuring in the Jailer song Kaavaalaa. The song went on to become a chartbuster and people learnt both the lyrics and choreography of the song by heart. This big feat didn¡¯t go well with Leo actor Mansoor Ali Khan and he has now passed some unpleasant remarks against it.
While speaking about the censorship scenario in Tamil Nadu in reference to his film Saraku, Khan expressed his disappointment with the cuts and changes he was asked to make by the Censor Board. Mansoor brought up Kaavaalaa and questioned how the song was permitted, adding that the song was awful.
He further mimicked and mocked the song¡¯s steps and slammed Tamannaah.
Trade Analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter and shared Mansoor¡¯s video with the caption, ¡°Highly condemn #Leo actor Mansoor Ali Khan's disrespectful speech about actress Tamannaah's #Jailer Kaavaalaa song in yesterday's press meet. This is not the right way to criticise the censor board.
One user wrote, ¡°Criticise but should always respect others¡±. Another one said, ¡°So Disrespectful! A movie is an entertainment medium and it is fictional not reality. Talking in this way is too wrong by him.¡± The third wrote, ¡°He is an outdated actor. We do not know what struggle he is going through for his living. It¡¯s Better to leave it. Hope someone will inform him to change.¡±
The popular actress performed eye-catching steps alongside Rajinikanth and even spoke about her experience of working with the veteran actor. She told ANI, "It is a dream come true to work with him (Rajinikanth). I will always cherish the memories spent on the Jailer set. He gifted me a book on a spiritual journey. It was so thoughtful of him. He had even autographed it."
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer was released on August 10 and went on to gross over Rs 600 crore globally. The film also starred Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Ramya Krishnan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles. Bhatia will be next seen in Vedaa and Bandra.
