'Maa Vaishnodevi' TV Actress Preetika Chauhan Arrested While Buying Ganja

Television actress Preetika Chauhan has been sent to judicial custody after Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested her and another person while carrying out a transaction of buying and selling almost 100 grams of 'ganja'.?

News agency ANI reported in the matter, "A team of Mumbai Zonal Unit apprehended two persons at Machhimar, Versova, and succeeded in a seizure of 99 grams of Ganja from their possession, yesterday. The two persons - one Faisal & TV actor Preetika Chauhan - were arrested & produced before the court: Narcotics Control Bureau."

An NCB official said, “The team succeeded in affecting a seizure of 99 grams of ganja from their possession.”??

Preetika Chauhan is a known TV actress who has been seen in shows like Savdhaan India, CID, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, and Maa Vaishnodevi in which she plays Bhumidevi.

The NCB has come down heavily on drug peddling in Mumbai after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and several arrests have been made and many celebrities have been questioned. The investigation is still ongoing.?
