Actor?Nitish Bharadwaj, who played the role of Lord Krishna in BR Chopra's Mahabharat, which aired between 1988 to 1990, is once again making headlines. The veteran actor who was last seen in the film Kedarnath has accused his wife Smita Gate of mental harassment.
Bharadwaj approached the commissioner of police (CP) of Bhopal and filed a written complaint against his wife. He is seeking action against wife Smita Gate who is posted as?Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) at MP Human Rights Commission. He has alleged her of harassment and unruly conduct.
In his complaint, Bharadwaj has written that he and his wife Smita consensually filed for divorce in 2018 to end their?12-year-long marriage. He mentioned that the case is still pending.?The actor alleged that his wife is not letting him meet their twin daughters, Devyani and Shivranjani.
When he made efforts to meet his daughters, his wife kept changing their schools on a regular basis. He said that this has impacted his mental health. Now, the actor wants the CP (commissioner of police) to intervene as he wants to meet his daughters.

Reacting to this,?Nitish Bharadwaj told Etimes, "Gita fundamentally teaches a sense of duty in the middle of a battlefield. Metaphorically, our life struggles, mainly emotional, are the battlefields. The Shloka 11.32 was also told to Arjun to do his duty as a warrior, which is to fight the evil. Krishna¡¯s entire shloka must be understood properly. He says that I am the eternal time who will kill everything; so everyone will die even if you don¡¯t kill them. So do your duty."?
