Amid the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, several celebrities from the Malayalam movie industry are sharing the Preamble of the Indian Constitution on their social media handles. From actors like?Parvathy Thiruvothu, Rima Kallingal, Divya Prabha, Kani Kusruti to directors including Jeo Baby, Aashiq Abu, Kamal KM, and singer Sooraj Santhosh, the Mollywood industry is reminding their people of the?secular, socialist, and democratic values that are enshrined in the Constitution.

The Preamble states, "We the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute India a into a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic, Republic and to secure to all its citizens:Justice, social, economic and political;Liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;Equality of status and of opportunity and to promote among them all; Fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;in our Constituent Assembly, this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949 do Hereby Adopt, Enact and give to ourselves this Constitution."
Comments section of their posts are flooded with Jai Shri Ram
"Too sad that no one here realises the fact that there is nothing super Hindutva about reinstating the Ram Mandar that was there since time immemorial. It is an initiative to take a sacred land that has been rightfully ours and not by the Mughals who destroyed a temple that withstood a legacy," a comment read. "So Parvathy, let’s allow them to break our temple and forever stamp on it in the name of secularism? We don’t subscribe to such secularism," said another one. "Jai Shree Ram, this country is Secular only because it's a Hindu majority," a third user wrote. "Jai shree Ram.u go to islamic nation and preach this kind of secularism," a fourth comment read.

"You really got backbone to stand and open speakup," a comment read. "This is what courageous, intelligent and truly patriotic Indians would do. Kudos," said another user. "Visited the National Museum’s constitution exhibition last month in Delhi. In India’s capital city, in one of the biggest museums here, the constitution had Secular and Socialist removed. The original text displayed was turned to the ‘contents’ page and not the preamble page. My heart sank as I saw that, to the audacity of changing our constitution," said another one.
