Divya Prabha Leaked Video Controversy: Payal Kapadia¡¯s critically acclaimed movie All We Imagine as Light became the?first Indian film in 30 years to compete at Cannes 2024 in their most prestigious category Palme d'Or and brought home the coveted Grand Prix award. While the film is struggling to get an OTT release, it was recently premiered in limited theatres for cinema lovers.
In the rarest of rare cases, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) allowed frontal nudity in All We Imagine as Light without any cuts. These scenes featured the film¡¯s lead Divya Prabha and a few also briefly showed another actress Kani Kasruti. In no time after the movie¡¯s theatrical release, those intimate scenes found their way to the internet.
Who is Divya Prabha?
Born in Kerala¡¯s Thrissur, Divya is majorly known for her performances in non-commercial and arthouse moviesy cinema. Her major breakthroughs were films like Take Off and Thamaasha. In 2015, Prabha won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Second Actress for her performance in the TV serial Eswaran Sakshiyayi.
Divya was once also a proud nominee for Best Actress at the 2022 Locarno Film Festival in the international competition section for her movie Ariyippu. The Mahesh Narayanan premiered in the Concorso internazionale (international competition section) and was also nominated for the Golden Leopard. Prabha¡¯s All We Imagine as Light stint is much known to everyone.
Divya has also been part of films like Lokpal, Mumbai Police, Cold Storage, SIM, Ithihasa, Kayal, Bhaiyya Bhaiyya, Pianist, Vettah, Kammara Sambhavam, Nonsense, Prathi Poovankozhi, Nizhal, Malik, Kodiyil, and Family among others.?Other than Divya and Kani, All We Imagine as Light also stars Chhaya Kadam, Hridhu Haroon, Azees Nedumangad, Tintumol Joseph, and Anand Sami in key roles and is available in selected theatres near you.
