Pakistani TikTokers have taken over the global headlines for all the wrong reasons. Weeks after influencers Minahil Malik, Imsha Rehman and Mathira allegedly featured in some purported intimate videos, another celebrity entrepreneur Kanwal Aftab has found herself in a similar soup. The video going viral allegedly shows her in a ¡®compromising situation¡¯, however, the video is yet to be authenticated.
Who is Kanwal Aftab?
Born on January 9, 1998, Kanwal Aftab is a popular social media figure and an entrepreneur with over 4 million followers on Instagram. Healing from Lahore, the 26-year-old influencer usually posts videos and pictures with her fellow TikToker Zulqarnain Sikandar whom she married in 2021. The couple are now parents to daughter Aizal Zulqarnain who was born in 2023.
In an interview with the Tribune earlier this year, Aftab candidly spoke about growing up in a dysfunctional family that affected her education. She revealed, ¡°My father left us at my grandmother's house and never returned.¡± Kanwal¡¯s father never compensated for his absence and that got her expelled from school.
The private video leak row featuring Minahil, Imsha and Mathira
It all started when TikToker Minahil Malik found herself trending last month suddenly and for all the wrong reasons. A viral video allegedly featured her with a fellow TikToker in an intimate situation which she later clarified was not her. She even issued a statement and filed a legal complaint. This was followed by a similar conversation involving TikToker Imsha Rehman.
The most recent one named Pakistani TV host and influencer Mathira Mohammed who didn¡¯t hold herself back and wrote on her X handle, ¡°People are misusing my name and my photoshoot pictures and adding fake stuff in. Please have shame! Keep me out of this trashy nonsense.¡± The authenticity of videos in all these four cases remains unconfirmed, unauthenticated and only assumptions made online.
