Ankita Konwar, a fitness enthusiast who has always shared the most honest details of her life on Instagram, recently shared that she had struggled with depression for years.
In one of her recent posts on Instagram, she revealed that she still experiences bouts of anxiety but has still cultivated a sense of self-love for herself.?
She captioned the post as:"Even after fighting depression for years, And still dealing with anxiety, It feels so good to wake up every morning realizing that I'm still here and I love myself, with all I have and despite all I don't. This feeling is incredible. True love starts with self-love."?
Recently, Ankita had opened up and shared a vulnerable post about her trauma on Instagram. Apart from sharing how she suffered abuse as a child, she revealed that she had been created by people and lost her ex-lover and father in the past.?
Ankita, who hails from Assam, had once shared a strong-worded and meaningful post on people's hypocrisy. She royally slammed 'hypocrites' who celebrate a northeasterner's victory only when they represent Indians and win medals but otherwise subject them to racism and mental harassment.
She wrote,?"If you're from Northeast India, you can become an Indian ONLY when you win a medal for the country. Otherwise, we are known as "Chinky' 'Chinese' 'Nepali' or a new addition' corona,'" she wrote.
The couple got married on April 22, 2018, in a traditional wedding ceremony at Alibaug.
