¡®It¡¯s A Disgrace¡¯, Fans Support Priyanka Singh After Singer Cries On Stage After Mistreatment
A video of popular Bhojpuri singer Priyanka Singh crying on stage is garnering a lot of eyeballs. Priyanka is best known for crooning the hit dance number ¡®Chhalakata Hamro Jawaniya Ye Raja¡¯ with Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh. The unfortunate incident in concern took place at Bihar¡¯s Thawe Mahotsav.
Priyanka was performing when a ¡®rude¡¯ anchor Rupam Trivikam jumped to stop her mid-way.
Singh protested the mistreatment and asked the anchor for just two minutes to talk when an attempt to snatch her mic was also made. Ignoring Priyanka¡¯s plea, the anchor went on to invite some dignitaries on stage. This on-stage misbehaviour made Priyanka break down in tears and roar her voice like a tigress.
Priyanka slammed the district administration for such unpleasant treatment and said in Hindi, ¡°I am not dying to sing. You called me here to perform so you cannot disrespect me like this. The district administration is wrong. I had a very bad experience at the Thawe Festival¡±. Watch the video here:

Not just fans but actress-singer Akshara Singh also took to Twitter and condemn the act.
The Bigg Boss OTT contestant tweeted in Hindi, ¡°Such a degenerate treatment of an artiste is highly condemnable. Fortunately, God gives birth to someone as an artiste. The pinnacle of indecency. To say the culmination of indecency in the gathering of a civilized society, see how these people are showing a spectacle of their own influence.¡±
¡°They have forgotten the dignity of the stage and before that, a girl is publicly respecting the artist. Whenever it comes to any artist, I will openly oppose such illiterate people¡. This woman who is snatching the mike on the stage has also probably forgotten that being a woman she is insulting the woman. I oppose such organizers.¡±

Several media reports later suggested that Priyanka was stopped because of the lack of time which is again the organizer's mismanagement. A TOI report suggests, ¡°After this, there was resentment among the people against the district administration. Seeing the progress of the matter, DM Dr Naval Kishore Chaudhary himself went and tried to persuade Priyanka Singh.¡±
