It seems like Kangana Ranaut's motormouth?is inviting a lot of legal trouble for her. Just days after an FIR was filed against the actress in Karnataka for her "anti-farmers" tweets, now Mumbai magistrate court has ordered to register FIR against the actress as well as her sister Rangoli Chandel for allegedly instigating communal tension.?
The complaint has been filed by casting director and fitness trailer Munawwar Ali Sayyed, as per Mumbai Mirror and Indian Express, who said that the Ranaut sisters through their Twitter accounts and interviews have committed offences under various sections 53A, 295A, 124 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.?
The sections pertain to promotion of enmity between communities, deliberate and malicious acts intending to outrage religious feelings by insulting their religion and sedition with common intent respectively.
Furthermore, the complainant has alleged that Kanagana "is continuously defaming Bollywood film industry and is portraying people working in Bollywood films as a hub of nepotism, favouritism, drug addicts, communally-biased people, murderers, etc".
The complainant mentioned Kangana's tweets from past few months in which she referred to Mumbai as POK. "Police Investigation is necessary as to ascertain the real motive behind such hate tweets and who are the people backing such hatred to create communal tensions and sentiments against the government,¡± the complaint adds.
