It's raining accolades for Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor category for filmmaker Sudhir Mishra¡¯s digitally released Serious Men (2020).
Siddiqui will compete with Christian Tappan (The Great Heist), David Tennant (Des), and Roy Nik (Normal) in the category.?
Did you know this is not his first tryst with the International Emmys?
Well, Siddiqui is obviously elated with the rewards coming his way. In most of his recent interviews, he has been sharing his candid thoughts about his experience in the film industry.
"I feel pressure with people who are non-actors. If you have found someone on the road and asked them if they can act, I get scared of that. If there is a child, dog, or cow, I get more scared of them because they are so unpredictable. No matter how much you act in front of them, they look better. I get more scared of them than popular names. These are popular names. For me, a popular actor is someone in front of whom my honesty can be reflected. For example, if there is a role of a mechanic in a film and you get an actual mechanic, I get scared of them as they are more conventional and their dialogue delivery will be genuine."
Siddiqui has always remained honest about his views and continues to share his unfiltered opinions.?
Recently, he also spoke about racism that is prevalent in the film industry.
