Diwali parties are going on in full swing in Bollywood. Social media is filled with pictures of celebrities having a gala time at these parties. The recent one was hosted by film producer Ramesh Taurani last night. Amidst everyone¡¯s fancy looks, the one which topped the list was Businessman Raj Kundra¡¯s unusual mask, which has got the internet trolling him massively.
For his outfit, Raj opted for a traditional look sporting a dark blue-almost black asymmetrical kurta and white blown-out pyjamas. He had paired them with a pair of black formal shoes and a face mask that has got the internet to do all the talking. Not only was it unusual but it was helmet-like. Raj reasoned the same by saying, ¡°I don¡¯t hide my face from the public, I don¡¯t wish to give media access to me. Not too difficult to understand after the media trial I have been through.¡± Besides Raj Kundra, Ramesh Taurani¡¯s Diwali bash also saw Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Shehnaaz Gill, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Shilpa Shetty and many more in attendance.
Shilpa and Raj tied the knot on November 22, 2009. In May 2012, the two became parents to a son Viaan. In February 2020, the couple welcomed Samisha, who was born via surrogacy. Raj was arrested in the pornography-related case in July 2021 and given bail after spending over two months in Mumbai¡¯s Arthur jail. After one year of his bail, he wrote a letter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) claiming his innocence in the case and alleging that he was framed.
