Pankaj Tripathi Feels His Success Isn’t Permanent And He Is Likely To Lose It One Day

Pankaj Tripathi has worked extremely hard tobe where he is today but he knows one day he will lose all this fame because according to him, it isn’t permanent.

Indiatimes got candid with the actor andspoke to him about his life philosophy and how is he dealing with this newfound success.

When asked the Mirzapur actor that how much importance does recognition hold for him as an actor, he said,?

“It holds a lotof importance because whenever we do work we expect appreciation, love andrespect. Plus, awards inspire us to do better; I try and improve my craft."

Asked if he has a fear of losing all the fameand success, he said,?

“I don’t have any fear because I am sure that one day Iwill lose the success, I know this is not permanent. Earlier, when I started nobody knew me, and today I am everywhere. Years later, people will forget me once again, because that’s life.

I am not very excited about all the success I have, myattitude towards life is the same. I do not have air of the success. I know this isall a part and parcel of life. The popularity that I have received has beengiven by the people to me and I am never thankful of it.”

We asked the actor how does he notlet fame get in to his head, he answered,?

“ The only way I resist my success is that I know it's an illusion and one day it will go. I am human too. I do make mistakes, but I make sure that I do not let the success or fame get into my head. Nature helps me to do that. When you stay connectedwith nature it makes you realise often that you are nothing in front of it, youare too small. I stay away from Mumbai’s regular crowd. I have a huge seaaround my house that I can see and that makes me feel how small I am."?

He added, "I love nature, I love mountains and all I wantis that we should protect this for our future generations. We often want to leave alot of wealth for them, but what about basics? We should also be careful abouthow will they get oxygen, water. I make a lot of effort to leave less carbon dioxide from my side in this world.”

There was a time when Tripathi only survived on his wife’searning. Well it isn’t easy for a man to rely on his wife for his living, whenasked how did he not let male ego or society get the best of him, he replied,

"It’s not like I do not have ego. I overcame it. I come from a village and I got the same traininglike everyone else. When I moved out from my village and met few educatedpeople, my experiences changed, people and books play a huge impact to becomethe person you are in life. Therefore talking about the interview that I livedon my wife’s earning, was very normal to me. When we get married we are equals so why shy or even be ashamed about it.

He added that in real life he tries to be like hischaracter from Gunjan Saxena

?“I love Gunjan Saxena’s father’s character and Iwant to be like him and I feel I am a bit of him and my daughter often islittle irritated with me because I am always after her about everything. (Khanakhaa lo, ye kar lo, woh ?kar lo).”

The actor even said that he is a family manand he doesn’t attend social gatherings at all, “I immediately run home afterpack up. I do not have any life after it. I have my office within 50 metersof my house. I do not go for social gatherings or parties. As I stay away fromMumbai, so travelling also becomes hectic and I like this life. Also, I becomevery awkward and I feel that kya baat karu? I am not a social person at all.”

Pankaj who admits that he is a nature lover revealedthat he might quit acting and start farming someday,

?“Jitna din acting chalegakar lunga, then I am interested in doing farming, growing my own vegetables,fruits, l want to create that small world for me. Now, let’s see when that willbecome possible.”
