One of the most shocking cases that still sends chills down our spines, the death of 11 members consisting of three generationsfrom the same family in Delhi's Burari, started a discussion on mental health and the importance of its awareness. The documentary,?House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths, which unraveled what happened inside the house before their deaths continues to haunt us.?
While it was said that it was a case of shared psychosis, now paranormal investigator Jay Alani has called the documentary one-sided. Sharing his perspective on it, he said that he didn't like the documentary at all. He said that he went to the location when the tragic incident took place.?He spoke to Dinesh Singh Chundawat, the only?surviving son of the family,? he said.
As per Jay, he was the first person to reach him and talk to him at Chundawat's village in Rajasthan. He even met his entire family to understand the situation.?
"Toh burari case me mujhe lagta hai ki 3 murders hue hain 11 me se. Jo dadi maa thi, ek ladki thi, aur ek aur bacchi thi. Mujhe lagta hai ki inn 3 logon ke murder hue hain. Jo hua usse hum shared psychosis kehte hain. Delhi wala popular isliye hua kyunki woh Delhi me tha, waise cases uske pehle bhi 10-20 har saal hote the uske baad bhi 10-20 har saal hote hain (So, in the Burari case, I feel that there were 3 murders out of the 11. The grandmother, a girl, and another child were the ones murdered. What happened is termed as shared psychosis. The reason it became popular in Delhi is that it happened there, but similar cases occurred before and continue to happen afterward)," he told Pinkvilla in an interview.

Meanwhile, as per Dinesh Singh Chundawat, the deaths were a result of a?big conspiracy and not superstition or occult practice as claimed by the Police. "Somebody who commits suicide or plans to kill, does the act?behind closed doors, but the door was found open. There is some big conspiracy behind it but the police are not relying?on our words and rather believing on what others are saying.?I don¡¯t believe that my family would commit suicide for as?incredible a reason like ¡®uniting with God¡¯. If it is so, poilce should give us strong evidences?on superstition, otherwise, they should hold a fair probe to solve the case," he was quoted as saying by TOI in 2018.?
