Amid people lashing out at Hema Malini calling her arrogant and comparing her to Jaya Bachchan for allegedly being "rude" towards a female fan who tried to touch her while she posed for a photo with her, several others have now come out in support of the veteran actress turned politician saying that certain boundaries shouldn't be crossed and that she is human too.?
In the viral video, Hema Malini can be seen standing with Indian singer and musician Anup Jalota and a woman. As they pose for photos together, the woman in the video tried to hold her by the waist. The Dream Girl actress looks uncomfortable at this and asks her not to touch her. As the video went viral, people started trolling her. "Voting ke time par gale milenge haath milayenge," one of the users wrote while another one pointed out, "But Hema Malini doesn't mind hugging complete strangers during election campaigns."
Now fans have come out in support of her saying that she didn't deny the picture and that she wasn't wrong there. "She's right, holding someone while taking pictures is something you do only with close ones. expecting fans to maintain their distance when taking pictures seems perfectly valid IMO," one of the users said. "Stars are humans too," said another one. "Yes boundaries, even for the man who is touching her breast to push her away," said another one.
