R Madhavan's son Vedaant Madhavan has been winning accolades in swimming for a long time. He made the nation proud once again after he won a gold and a silver medal in two different swimming competitions at Danish Open. Talking about his success at the age of 16, he says he didn't want to be called R Madhavan's son and instead make a name for himself.?
Furthermore, he also spoke about how his family is constantly making efforts to support him. "They are always looking after me. Both put so much effort. One of the main sacrifices my parents made was to shift to Dubai".?
For the unversed, R Madhavan and his family had shifted to Dubai last year in December due to lack of facilities in India at the moment.?
R Madhavan feels proud that his son wants to make a mark on his own. He has no regrets that Vedaant doesn't want to be an actor like him. "His chosen vocation is far more important to me than my own career", he said.
Earlier, Vedaant has won seven medals for Maharashtra at the junior national aquatic championships in Bengaluru. At the age of 12, he won an international swimming competition in Thailand. At the Junior Nationals Swim meet, he won three golds and a silver medal. Vedaant had also won silver for India in swimming at the Asian Age Group Swimming Championship.?

The plot of the movie revolves around Indian scientist and aerospace engineer S. Nambi Narayanan, who is known for introducing liquid fuel rocket technology. He was wrongfully arrested by the Kerela Police in sensational ISRO Espionage Case in 1994. The charges were dismissed in 1996 by CBI and he was declared non-guilty in 1998, but it was after 24 years that he received compensation of Rs 50 lakhs recently in September for being kept in prison for 50 days.
