Salman Khan is currently basking on the success of his recently released film Tiger 3. However, it could not match up to the likes of Shah Rukh Khan¡¯s this year releases Jawan and Pathaan. The Dabangg star is however self-aware that having big stars supporting each other can do wonders at the box office.
Salman recently shared that when ¡°people would not come to watch my movies¡±, he decided to feature alongside his other contemporaries including Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor. He told Zoom, ¡°Movies¡¯ collections would double at the box office.¡±
Saying that the 90s actors would frequently collaborate, Salman feels ¡°the younger generation won¡¯t be able to do it, for some strange reasons.¡±
Commenting on his association with Shah Rukh in the YRF spy universe, Salman wished for Aamir Khan¡¯s onboarding. He said, ¡°Here, I did work with Shah Rukh in Tiger 3, and if Aamir gets to do a spy-verse, he will also join in.¡± Giving a name to his and SRK¡¯s bond, Salman shared, ¡°Yes I am Veeru and Shah Rukh is Jai.¡±
Khan recently talked about how all three Khans and his other peers are still relevant in the industry because they didn¡¯t lose focus. While speaking at the press conference about his niece¡¯s debut movie Farrey, Salman shared that, ¡°There was Salman Khan, who was launched with Maine Pyaar Kiya, he was a newcomer.¡±
¡°There was Aamir Khan in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Shah Rukh Khan in Deewana, Ajay Devgn in Phool Aur Kaante, and Akshay Kumar in Khiladi. So, everyone has come up that way."?
Further sharing his advice for the Fareey cast, Salman added, ¡°If it (film) does a fantastic job, and if she (Alizeh) gets complacent then khalaas (it's over). If this film does okay and she works 10 times harder, she will come up. All of you guys (cast), don't get complacent, just keep working. No matter whether you are happy or sad or your partner has left you or anything else has happened, keep all that aside. Just focus on work and give your best.¡±
Farrey stars Alizeh Agnihotri in the lead and will arrive in theatres on 24th November. Tiger 3 on the other hand has so far grossed around Rs 400 crores globally.
