Saloni Chopra Questions Why People Only Want To Talk About Her Allegations Against Sajid Khan

If she talks about him, he wins. If she doesn't talk about him, even then he wins.?

Actress Saloni Chopra says she has written 90,000 words about feminism and women's rights; she has acted, directed and produced an entire film; she also talks about women's bodies, alopecia, and equality, and yet people only reach out to her to talk about Sajid Khan.

For the unversed, the Indian-born Australian actress has appeared in the?2018 television series?Screwed Up and Salman Khan-starrer Race 3. During the Me Too movement in the same year, Chopra?publicly shared allegations of sexual harassment by Sajid Khan.

Narrating her story, she revealed? Sajid Khan made her uncomfortable by asking her if she masturbates. "He pulled his pants down and showed me his dick as he kept yelling ‘see? You don’t even make me hard!", she wrote in her blog post.

It has been four years since she opened up on the same, yet years later, she is still being asked about Sajid Khan and not how far she has reached in her career since then.?

As Sajid Khan made his way to Bigg Boss 16 house saying that his arrogance led to his downfall without even mentioning about Me Too movement, several people approached her for her views on the same.

Taking to Instagram, Saloni writes, "Ever since Sajid Khan has entered Bigg boss - I have been bombarded by calls to speak to me. Quote me. Print articles about me."

"Reminder: I wrote a whole book of 90,000 words about Feminism and Womens Rights. I Acted, Directed AND Produced a fucking whole Feature Film. I talk about Mental Health, Women's bodies, Alopecia and Equality. And yet you want to talk about him".

She adds, "Men accused of sexually harassing and assaulting women (in this instance MULTIPLE women) continue being known for their work, while women who speak up against them are often minimised into nothing more than the whereabouts of their harasser. We don't allow women to be anything more, because we quite frankly don't care what great things they've achieved enough to highlight them."

"People want to know my thoughts. What do you think I think? I think it's a load of a fucking bullshit. I think it's pathetic that he's allowed that platform, yet I am not surprised in any way. I think the lack of responsibility society holds itself up to for being the core reason women still fear speaking - is even more disheartening. I think he's on this show for this exact same reaction. Because it's creating noise. This noise directly translates into views. Because enough people will enable and protect awful men. Everybody has skeletons - you can't change that until you change the unfair power dynamics."

She also added in her post that she has also been approached for such house-bound reality shows but refused to participate because "I wasn't going to let my story of sexual harassment or my feminism become entertainment."?
