Sushant Singh Rajput’s 'MS Dhoni', Randeep Hooda's 'Sarbjit' Make It To The Oscars' List

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the list of films in contention for the best picture Oscar and Sushant Singh Rajput’s biopic on Indian Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, called MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Sarbjit have made it. The films have found a spot in the long list of 336 feature films eligible for the Oscars.

The report claims that to make it to the 2016 Academy Awards list, these films were played in a commercial theater in Los Angeles County between January 1 and December 31 for at least seven consecutive days.

Apart from the two films, Indian-American filmmaker Mira Nair’s directorial venture Queen of Katwe?is also part of the list.
