'Hurt by family': TMKOC actor Gurucharan Singh finally reveals real reason behind his missing incident
Actor Gurucharan Singh, who recently went missing, has given another reason for his disappearance. The?Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor says that the real reason for which he went missing is that he wanted to be away from the family as he was ¡°hurt by near and dear ones.¡±

Giving more details while talking to Indian Express, Singh said, ¡°There comes a time when you distance yourself from your family and the world. I had been hurt by my near and dear ones, despite trying to get work. I was continuously facing rejections. Having said that, I knew, no matter what happened, I was not going to think of suicide.¡±
There were rumours earlier that Singh had disappeared because of his financial debts. The actor has clarified the rumours and said, ¡°I didn¡¯t disappear because I was in debt or because of my inability to repay the loan. Karz toh mujhpar aaj bhi hai (translation: I still have loans to pay)."?

Gurucharan Singh went missing in April 2024. The actor returned home after 26 days.
What was the reason Gurucharan gave earlier for his disappearance?
After returning home after 26 days, Gurucharan Singh was interrogated by Delhi Police officials, and his missing report was registered by his father. After his investigation, it was said that the actor left home to be on a "religious journey."
Delhi police back then said that Gurucharan visited Gurudwaras in Amritsar and Ludhiana ever since he was reported ¡°missing.¡±
Gurucharan earlier also said that he had "no plans" of coming back.?

In Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, aka TMKOC, Gurcharan Singh played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi, who is shown as a fun-loving man who is always in a good mood and loves his wife. Roshan Singh was one of the popular characters on the show. The actor left the show in 2013 but got back on demand. He was replaced by actor Balwinder Singh Suri in 2020.?
