The 49-year-old actor, who has already spent over two decades in the film industry, had told a leading publication that while as a producer, he loves the OTT, as an actor, he is very clear that he wants to be seen only on the big screen.?
However, his bold and straight forward attitude didn't go down well with the netizens, who have now started trolling him for his recent remarks. Reacting to his remarks belittling the OTT space, several netizens bashed the actor on social media and reminded him of his flop movies such as Satyameva Jayate 2 and Attack.?
Taking to Twitter one user wrote, "Big screen hero ????? ---- big screen bouncer lagta hai aapko dekh kar !!!!Kya 299 or 499 paise nahi hai ??? Has an actor you should available in all platforms !!! Today we're seeing good shows across globe with that ott only."?
Another tweeted, "Too much ego for someone who makes movies like Satyamev Jayate 2. We very well know about your standards after watching Housefull 2 Mr. John," while a third user compared his attitude with superstar Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar and wrote, "Bhai itna attitude to Salman Akshay inme bhi nahi hai jitna in bhaisaahab me hai baat to aise Kar Raha hai jaise 100-200 crore ki movie Dena iske liye aam baat hai ??"?
On the professional front,?John Abraham will feature in Shah Rukh Khan upcoming film 'Pathaan' in 2023.?The Dostana actor will be next featuring in the 2014 Ek Villain sequel titled Ek Villain Returns. The film is slated to?hit the screens on July 29, 2022.
