Ever since the trailer of Bhediya, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer wold comedy, has released, the film has piqued up the interest of the fans. After all, it is being hailed as India's first ever creature-comedy that has Varun playing the role of an icchhadhaari Bhediya.?
The duo - Kriti and Varun - are busy promoting the film which is all set to hit the screens on Nov 25. After much-anticipation, the first song of the movie?Thumkeshwari was released yesterday, and apart from Varun-Kriti,?Shraddha Kapoor can also be seen shaking a leg to the song.?
To promote the song, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon climbed up Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy theatre roof and shook a leg garnering the love of fans. As the video went viral on social media, fans started trolling them both.?"For a second I thought ki koi local hotel main raid padi hai!" said one of them. Without further ado, watch the video below.

Sharing his thoughts on the track, Varun Dhawan said in a statement, "Thumkeshwari is a number that's tailor made to burn the dance floor. I thoroughly enjoyed performing to its funky tune. The song's lyrics are a catchy delight, and I am sure fans are going to have a gala time dancing to the track."
About working on the song, Kriti said, "I had an absolute ball shooting for 'Thumkeshwari'. I was sharing screen space with Varun after a very long time and we have never worked on this kind of a grand track together. This was quite the memorable experience."
Composed by Sachin-Jigar and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, who also wrote the lyrics for 'Param Sundari', Thumkeshwari is a peppy number crooned by the music directors themselves along with Ash King and Rashmeet Kaur.
