After the success of Allu Arjun and Rashmika's Mandanna's film Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar, makers are ready to kickstart filming the sequel of the hit film. The new movie of the 2021 Telugu hit franchise has been titled Pushpa: The Rule and it's likely to go on floors soon.?
Now, there's a buzz that actor Vijay Sethupathi is all set to be part of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2. Latest reports even suggest that the Vikram Vedha actor has been approached by the makers of Pushpa.?
And if reports are to be believed, the talented actor will be seen playing a crucial role in the upcoming sequel be it, a protagonist or antagonist. Moreover, Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to feature in the first installment of the Pushpa franchise - Pushpa: The Rise too.?
However, due to issues with the dates, the Super Deluxe actor had to opt out of the movie. It looks like the Pushpa makers are trying their luck once again to get Vijay Sethupathi onboard.?
Some reports even suggests that Vijay Sethupathi, who had recently played several negative roles, will be playing another villain role opposite Mahesh Babu for an upcoming Telugu movie.?
Reports reveal that the makers of the film are in talks with the Sethupathi actor for the Trivikram directorial, which stars Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde. However, there's no official confirmation regarding the same yet.?
More on the work front, Vijay Sethupathi last featured in Vikram, which was released on June 3. His performance in the flick was critically acclaimed. The actor will next be seen in his long-delayed film Maamanithan, which is slated to hit theatre screens on June 23.?
