False Alarm: Producer Quashes Rumours About Rashmika Mandanna's Srivalli Dying In Pushpa 2
Producer of Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise has confirmed that Rashmika Mandanna's character Srivalli will be a part of Pushpa: The Rule.
Telugu-language action movie Pushpa: The Rise starring south hero Allu Arjun in the titular character and Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli was a grand success at the box office minting over a gross of Rs 320 crores.
Now makers are ready to make the sequel of the film and the buzz is that Rashmika Mandanna's character could get killed in the second movie of the Pushpa franchise.
According to some rumours doing the rounds, Mandanna¡¯s character Srivalli may die in the film. However, producer Y. Ravi Shankar has recently responded to the reports about Rashmika's character, Srivalli dying in the second installment of the franchise.
Speaking of the reports doing rounds on the internet, the producer told Pinkvilla, "That¡¯s (the reports) all trash. This is all nonsense. Until now we didn¡¯t hear the story to be fair and frank, so it¡¯s not like that, and all these are speculations.
At this point of time you write anything on that film, no one knows anything about that, so they believe in it. This is being carried by other websites and TV channels also, but it's false news."
During the interview the producer was specifically asked if Rashmika Mandanna's character lives on, and he confirmed, ¡°Ya ya, sure."
Reports suggest that the the work on the second part of the Telugu movie franchise, titled Pushpa: The Rule, will begin soon. Pushpa The Rise had Allu Arjun playing the lead and portraying a lorry driver cum sandalwood smuggler.
The film also features Fahadh Faasil, who made his Telugu debut with it. Written and directed by Sukumar, the film received much praise upon its release on December 17, 2021.
Rashmika Mandanna Flaunts Saami Saami Hook Step At Mumbai Airport
Coming to Rashmika Mandanna, the actress was spotted at the Mumbai airport recently where she flaunted the popular hook step from the Saami Saami song in from her film Pushpa. She got snapped by paparazzi wearing a comfy tracksuit and black sunglasses as she returned from Hyderabad.
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is busy filming her next bilingual movie with Thalapathy Vijay, which is tentatively titled Thalapathy66. The 26-year-old actress will also features in Dulquer Salmaan-led Sita Ramam where she plays a cameo.
