An old video of Vivek Oberoi praising the Bishnoi community has gone viral after the Lawrence Bishnoi gang issued a fresh public threat against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan after the sad and shocking murder of the actor's close friend Baba Siddique. In the video, Oberoi who is one of the foes of Salman Khan can be seen lauding the community's rich culture and values. Here's what he said.?
In the video, Vivek Oberoi praises the Bishnoi community and says, "Yeh duniya mein ek hi samaj hai, Bishnoi samaj, jaha pe agar hiran maar jaye toh uske baache ko, Bishnoi... humare maataye apni chati se lagakar, apne baache ki tarah dhood pilate hain (There is only one community in this world, the Bishnoi community, where if a deer is killed, the Bishnoi... our mothers nurture its young ones as if they were their own children, feeding them with their own milk.)".
The video has sparked humorous reactions from fans. "Vivek be like Lawrence Bhai me to na sehta (Vivek be like, Lawrence Bhai, I can¡¯t stand this)," one of the users said. "Dushman Ka Dushman Lawrence Ka Dost (The enemy of enemy is Lawrence's friend", said another one. "Ye apna badla le raha hai (He is taking his revenge)," said another one. "Yeh 2003 ka badla Pura Kar raha hai (He is settling scores from 2003)," said another user.
For the unversed, Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi don't share a good relationship. In a press conference in 2003, Vivek accused Salman of threatening him due to his relationship with Aishwarya Rai, with whom the superstar had a messy breakup. Although he joined his hands during an award show and even touched his ears to apologise to Khan, it is said that their relationship could never be mended.
Meanwhile, Lawrence Bishnoi's gang stated via a Facebook post that "we do not have any enmity with anyone but whoever helps Salman Khan and Dawood gang, keep their accounts in order. If anyone gets any of our brothers killed, we will definitely react. We did not attack first."
