The Telangana government had cautioned the organisers of Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Hyderabad that songs that encourage violence, drugs, and alcohol would not be played during the concert. This prompted Diljit to change the lyrics of some of his songs. In a video that is now going viral, Diljit can be heard changing the lyrics from ¡®Tenu teri daru ch pasand lemonade¡¯ to ¡®Tenu teri coke ch pasand lemonade.¡¯ He went on to change the lyrics ¡®5 Taara thekke utthe to ¡®5 Taara hotel ch¡¯.?
The video of him performing while changing lyrics has gone viral and people can¡¯t stop reacting to it. One wrote, ¡°The way he and his team tweaked the lyrics last minute to adhere to the legal guidelines is worth applauding.¡±
Another added,? ¡°Telangana Government really thought they could water down Diljit¡¯s vibe.¡±
A third went on to add, ¡°Govt said can¡¯t use daru then jatt said ok daru=coke.¡±
At his concert, Diljit also told the audience that if you're insulting her, you're insulting the nation's daughter. He was quoted saying, "Inna da apmaan karrahe ho, tussi desh di beti da apmaan karrae ho, main tenu das diya gal.¡±
Furthermore, because loud noises and flashing lights during a concert are detrimental to children, the Telangana government prohibited the musician from bringing children onstage for his performance. On October 26, Diljit Dosanjh's 11-city Dil-Luminati tour got underway in New Delhi.
