There's no better joy in life than putting a smile on someone's face. The messiah of the poor and needy Sonu Sood rejoiced at such a moment and his heart beamed with happiness. A superhero without a cape, Sood?met with the girl he had helped a few months ago recently. She is now able to walk as Sonu Sood supported her surgery.?
For the unversed,?Janhvi suffered from a spinal disorder since birth, because of which she couldn't even stand properly. The surgery to treat her cost Rs 8 lakhs, but Janhvi's father couldn't afford the same. When Sonu Sood got to know about it, he helped the little girl almost instantly.?
"It fills my heart with joy to watch the young girl stand on her own and even walk! Watching her smile made all our efforts worth it. I wish Janhvi all the best for life," he was quoted as saying.
During the lockdown, he became a national hero after he helped innumerable people, especially the migrant workers.
"I thought I will now have to?ask my parents for money. I always thought I will manage on my own, but that seemed impossible at that point in time. But then, I got shoot for Rs 2000-3000 per day, and that's how I survived," Sonu Sood told?Pinkvilla?as he shared his story.
"When I came to Mumbai, I came on a train and had no reservation. When I was doing my engineering in Nagpur, I used to travel in buses and trains without reservation. When I saw those migrants walking on roads, with their kids, and elders, those were the most disturbing visuals of my life. I decided I am not going to sit at home and crib about it".?
