Sharmin Segal was born on September 28, 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, into a Hindu family. Her mother, Bela Segal, is a well-known Bollywood film editor famous for her work on films like "Black" and "Devdas." Sharmin grew up with a younger sister named Simran. Initially interested in becoming a doctor, she found her calling in acting in the 11th grade after participating in theater. Encouraged by her uncle, she decided to pursue acting full-time. Despite facing challenges like managing her weight, Sharmin's dedication led her to adopt a healthier lifestyle. She completed her education at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and soon became a familiar face in showbiz.
