Fans Demand Justice For Johnny Depp After Amber Heard Admits To ‘Hitting’ Him

Actor Johny Depp continued to testify on Wednesday that his ex-wife Amber Heard was the aggressor in their relationship.While sharing his side of the story, Depp described how part of his finger was severed when she threw a vodka bottle at him.?

During his testimony, Depp's legal team played audio recordings that he made during his and Heard's marriage.?His team played for the court a recorded conversation in which she admitted to hitting him.?

In one, Depp tells Heard that she threw pots and pans at him, which she ends up confirming.

In another voice clip, Depp tells Heard that she had kicked the bathroom door, which hit him, but she replies she couldn't remember because she had been on Ambien at the time.?

Heard admits to hitting Depp during another recorded conversation but disagrees with him when he says she punched him.

?"I did not punch you," Heard says in the audio recording. "I did not fucking deck you. I fucking was hitting you. "You're a fucking baby," Heard continues. "You are such a baby. Grow the fuck up, Johnny. I did start a physical fight."?

During opening statements in the case, her attorneys said Depp physically and sexually abused her on multiple occasions during their marriage — often when he was using drugs or alcohol.?

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million for defamation after she wrote a 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post in which she said she was a victim of domestic violence.?

Even though Heard didn't name Depp in the op-ed, his lawyers have said it's implied that it's about him — and they're seeking $50 million in damages that include lost movie roles and other opportunities following the allegations that Depp was abusive.?

Depp and Heard were married in February 2015 and confirmed their split in May 2016. After filing for divorce later that month, Heard filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp and brought photographic evidence of the alleged abuse she suffered, as per US magazine.?

Depp initially filed the USD 50 million lawsuit in March 2019, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.?

In November 2020, Depp lost his highly publicized U.K. libel lawsuit case against British tabloid The Sun for calling him a "wife-beater."?

In his latest trial, Depp also spoke about the beginning of his relationship with Heard. "She was attentive. She was loving. She was smart. She was kind. She was funny. She was understanding," he said.?
