The entire entertainment world was in utter shock as the news of Matthew Perry's untimely death by accidental growing in his jacuzzi broke out. The actor best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit TV show Friends died under mysterious circumstances. As more details surrounding his death are emerging, it's only making things more complex.?
For the unversed, five people have been charged in the case relating to his death. They include two doctors, one broker, drug queen Jasveen Sangha and and his assistant, who has now revealed about the actor's tragic end and last days. He said that Perry was found unconscious multiple times and that he had spent nearly Rs 50 lakhs on?illegal Ketamine.
Perry's assistant Kenneth Iwamasa revealed that he had given him two shots of Ketamine on?October 28, 2023 that turned fatal and led to his death. The first shot was given at?8:30 am and the next one at 12:45 pm. Forty minutes after he gave Perry the first shot that day, he asked him to "shoot (him) up with a big one" and prepare his jacuzzi.?Iwamasa did what he was asked to and left the house?to run a few errands. When he returned to the house, he found him?lying face down in jacuzzi, reported Page Six.?
Perry who struggled with drug addiction throughout his life and had been to rehab more than a dozen times was?abusing the drug again. He was advised to take Ketamine to treat his depression but he was abusing it since?September 2023.?His doctor?Salvador Plasencia had taught his assistant?Iwamasa how to inject the drug.?
The doctor then roped in another doctor?Mark Chavez so that he could get access to more?quantity of the drug and earn profit from Matthew Perry's addiction. Palescia allegedly texted Chavez, "I wonder how much this moron will pay." The actor had reportedly paid?$55,000 (Rs 46,13,279 lakhs) to them.?
Eric?Fleming, the drug broker, has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and an additional count of distributing the drug. Doctor Chavez has also pleaded guilty to one count of drug distribution. He would likely face a potential 10-year prison sentence. Doctor Plasencia on the other side has pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, seven counts of distributing the drug, and two counts of altering or falsifying documents related to the investigation.?
