At the Red Sea Film Festival 2023, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh made his fans proud as he received a special honour. The actor got a memento from the hands of actress Sharon Stone.
As Sharon Stone called Ranveer Singh on stage, the Hollywood actress gave a shoutout to the actor. "I have had the exciting pleasure of meeting Ranveer Singh before¡what a great guy! He is truly an all-rounder creative genius," she said.
¡°Thank you most of all to my beautiful fans..your love and support have been my driving force¡ you inspire me to push my limits and strive for greatness to find the moment of the truth that is invaluable,¡± he said.
He also got the opportunity to meet his screen idol and Hollywood actor Johnny Depp in Saudi Arabia. Ranveer met with Johnny Depp and also struck a pose with him.?Ranveer undoubtedly shared his fanboy moment meeting Johnny Depp. He also gave him a huge shout-out while receiving a special honour at the festival.
A viral video has been doing the rounds on the internet in which Ranveer said, ¡°Wow! One of my screen idols is in the house, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Johnny Depp. My good, sir, I¡¯ve followed your work since Edward Scissorhands and What¡¯s Eating Gilbert Grape. What an honor to be receiving this in your presence. Thank you for everything that you unknowingly taught me about the craft. Master of transformation, versatility, something that I am inspired by you."
The third edition of Red Sea Film Festival commenced on Thursday with the world premiere of Dubai-based Iraqi director Yasir Al-Yasiri¡¯s fantasy HWJN and a glitzy red carpet featuring Will Smith, Sharon Stone, Baz Luhrmann and, and a slew of Arabic star besides Bollywood¡¯s heartthrob Ranveer.?Held in the auditorium of Jeddah¡¯s Ritz Carlton hotel, the opening ceremony reaffirmed this year¡¯s festival theme of ¡°Your story, your festival¡± given that Jeddah, is also the city where HWJN, the opener, is set.?The festival will conclude on December 9.??
