Jr. NTR, the Telugu superstar, sparked fresh excitement among fans eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Devara, with a confident assertion at a recent event.
The actor, who has been keeping a low public profile as he concludes filming for the ambitious project, made a surprise appearance at the Tillu Square success event.
Originally slated for an April 5 release, Devara has been rescheduled to hit screens on October 10, coinciding with the festive occasion of Dussera. Addressing the crowd, Jr. NTR assured fans that the delay would be worth it, promising an experience that would make them "raise their collars" with pride upon seeing the final cut of the film.
Emphasising the central theme of "fear" in Devara, Jr. NTR tantalised fans by reciting a dialogue from the movie: "Kala Kaadaiki oka dhairyam undali, aa Kalani nijam cheskodaniki bhayam undali" (To confront darkness, one must have courage and fear to face the truth).
However, amid the anticipation for Devara, Jr. NTR took a moment to applaud the burgeoning talent in the Telugu film industry. Singling out actors Siddu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen, he hailed them as "daredevils" poised to usher in a new era in Telugu cinema.
"I trust both the daredevils, Siddu and Vishwak Sen, to create a new wave in Telugu cinema, and I am proud of their growth," Jr. NTR remarked.
Siddu Jonnalagadda was last seen in the hit film Tillu Square, while Vishwak Sen portrayed the role of an Aghora in Gaami, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
As fans eagerly await Devara's release, Jr. NTR's words have only served to heighten anticipation for what promises to be a groundbreaking cinematic experience.
