During a promotional event for her film Emergency, Kangana said in Hindi, ¡°See the kind of patriarchal films that still stir a storm at the box office. Men are out with axes and are indulging in bloodshed and violence. They enter schools with machine guns as if there's no police, there are no consequences. They're just piling dead bodies. And why? Just for fun. It's not for public welfare or the protection of borders. Only for fun. They just take drugs and have fun.¡±

Kangana during an Agenda Aaj Tak event was seen going gaga about Pushpa 2, a film which is no less in narrative than Animal - be it violence, action, misogyny or patriarchy. The internet in no time reminded her of things she said about Animal. One user declared, ¡°She has always been a hypocrite.¡± Another added, ¡°Didn't she acted in a violent film called Dhaakad?¡±
Someone joked, ¡°She changes opinions faster than my hair growth.¡± A person also opined, ¡°I think you're right. She probably has some memory issues or some high level of cognitive dissonance. Hypocrites are plenty but I don't know anyone who changes his/her statements this fast and again and again.¡±?
