Kareena took to social media to share her reaction. Posting a video of Downey Jr.'s acceptance speech on her Instagram stories, the actress showered praise on the star, labelling him a 'genius' with a series of starstruck emojis, clapping emojis, and a rolling on-the-floor emoji.
In the video, Downey Jr., known for his charismatic presence, humorously thanked his 'terrible childhood' while jokingly comparing his wife, Susan, to a veterinarian who rescued him as a snarling pet and loved him back to life. Expressing gratitude for the Oppenheimer role, he revealed, "Here¡¯s my little secret: I needed this job more than it needed me."
While Kareena applauded the Hollywood star, her own endeavours in the film industry continued.
