Starship Entertainment's highly anticipated survival show, Debut's Plan, is set to premiere on March 14, 2025, marking the formation of the company's new boy group, NewKids. This will be Starship's first boy group in four years since CRAVITY's debut.
The journey began on July 8, 2024, when Starship announced the audition project NewKids on the STARSHIP. It was revealed through the group's promotion schedule that the final lineup would be decided through Debut's Plan, with only 7 out of 21 contestants securing a spot in NewKids.
The survival show will kick off with?EP.0: Debut's Plan Begins?on March 14 at 9:30 PM KST via the Newkids on the Starship YouTube channel. This episode will feature the first competition round, narrowing the pool from 33 contestants to 21 — forming Newkids 21.
The show will document the contestants' intense training, fierce performances, and personal growth, capturing their journey as they push beyond their limits to achieve their dream of debuting as part of NewKids.

How to vote for your favorite contestant
The debut lineup is expected to consist of seven members. However, if the selections of THE BOARD (STARSHIP Entertainment) and THE FANS differ, 8 to 14 trainees may advance to the final debut evaluation before the lineup is officially decided.?
Following the premiere, the first round of global voting will open on March 14 at 10 PM KST and close on April 3 at 10 AM KST. Fans will have the opportunity to support their favorite contestants as they fight for their spot in the final lineup.?
Voting will take place over three rounds, with results determined by a 1:1 weighted combination of Korean and global votes, along with THE BOARD's evaluation.
