The first trailer for Netflix's upcoming German series, 1899, has been released. The streamer announced on Twitter that the show could be our next obsession. As it was created by the same team behind the popular web series Dark, which aired on the platform for three seasons.
It's not just Dark fans who will enjoy this trailer. The story is full of mysteries, strange artefacts and symbols that make it memorable. The shooting took place on a newly developed virtual creation stage. It is Europe's largest LED 'Volume' of its kind, with the capture of countless complex special visualisations pictures in-camera through virtual sets and settings made utilising game motor innovation. The cutting-edge virtual creation stage will be permanently located beyond Berlin at the well-known Babelsberg Studios and will provide content creators with new and inventive methods of imaginative narrating.
