In just five days after the release, the film has smashed these 10 records already!
One the first day of release itself, Jawan minted Rs 75 crore in India alone (Rs 65 crores in Hindi and Rs 5 crores each in Tamil and Telugu, thus becoming Shah Rukh Khan's biggest opener ever. The day one collection of Jawan across the world was Rs 129 crores.??
Jawan has thus become the second film after Pathaan to mint more than Rs 100 crores in just two days after its release.?
Earning Rs 81 crores on Day 4 of its release, the Atlee directorial set another record for highest single-day collection in Hindi.
Beating his own record set by Pathaan, Jawan has now become the biggest opner of 2023. Pathaan reportedly earned Rs 57 crore on opening day in India and Rs 100 crores worldwide. For context, Gadar 2 collected Rs 40 crores?on its opening day in theatres in India.
The film has also become director Atlee's highest-grossing movie ever. His top grosser so far was Bigil starring Thalapathy Vijay which earned Rs 300 crores globally.?
In just three days after release, Jawan crossed Rs 200 crores at the domestic box office. No other film has done this so far. SRK's last release Pathaan did this in four days.
The film starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathy achieved the feat this just five days. The Atlee film crossed Rs 300 crores in five days in the domestic market.
In just four days, Jawan minted over Rs 500 crores at the box office. Pathaan which held the record earlier took five days to do so.?
With this speed, SRK-starrer will soon become highest highest-grossing movie in India. It's currently, at the third spot behind Rajinikanth's Jailer, Gadar 2 and Pataan.
With its Hindi collection of Rs 65 crores on day 1, Jawan has become the highest opener of all time in Hindi.?
Jawan has set another record by minting Rs?180.45 crores in just three days, thus beating Jawan whose weekend collection was Rs?280.75 crores.
The Tamil and Telugu versions of Jawan have garnered Rs?36.50 crore in 5 days.
The first-week collection of Pathaan was Rs 364.15 crore. Beating that, Jawan has already earned Rs 369.43 crores within a week of its release.
The film has crossed Rs?650 crore mark worldwide, and has thus become the fastest film to do so in seven days.
