Shark Tank India 2: Where To Watch, Judges, Timings & All You Need To Know Before The Show Airs

Sharks are ready to dive with glory yet gain in their tanks. After a massive success with season 1, the business-based reality shows Shark Tank India is all set to return with its second season. With few old faces but brand new business minds, the fanbase of Shark Tank is all set to watch the show. Here’s all you need to know before it airs:-

1. Shark Tank India will air on Sony TV and premiere on SonyLIV.

As last year Shark Tank India will continue to air on Sony TV. Distributed by Sony Pictures Networks, the show will have its OTT episodes available on the SonyLIV app. Shark Tank is a show format originally created by Mark Burnett for the American edition that first aired in 2009 on the ABC channel.

2. The show will replace ‘KBC 14’ in the time slot of 10 PM.

Shark Tank India will be coming at the 10 PM slot replacing Amitabh Bachchan’s popular quiz show KBC 14. The judges also appeared on KBC’s finale week to promote Shark Tank and had a fun-filled time there. The show first aired in India on 20th December 2021 and season 1 concluded on 4th February 2022.

3. The show will have six sharks, five of whom are from the last season.

Popular entrepreneurs Namita Thapar (EmCure), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Vineeta Singh (Sugar), Aman Gupta (boAt) and Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com) will return on the shark seat. Other than India, the show’s format also has international versions in countries like Australia, Mexico, Israel, Nepal, Columbia, Vietnam, Thailand and Malta.

4. The show will have a new shark: Amit Jain of CarDekho.

Being the sixth on the list is fresh entrant, entrepreneur Amit Jain. Amit is the co-founder and CEO of Car Dekho, an online portal for selling and buying used cars. Jain hails from Jaipur and is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. While working briefly in Austin, Texas, Jain started his first startup there. He started Car Dekho with his brother in 2008.

5. The show will return alongside Masterchef India Season 7.

Masterchef India, a cooking-based reality show has been taken over by Sony Pictures which was owned previously by Star Network. Where seasons 1 to 6 aired on Star Plus, season 7 will air on Sony TV from 9 PM every Monday To Friday and Shark Tank India will take over from 10 PM on the same weekdays.

6. Shark Tank India will have a new host this season - Rahul Dua.

Ranvijay Singha who hosted Shark Tank India 1 will be replaced by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua. Other than Ranvijay, two of last year’s sharks Ashneer Grover and Ghazal Alagh will not return for this season.
