Aamir Khan is recognized as Bollywood's 'Mr Perfectionist'. Whatever project he undertakes, he ensures that it is completed properly and efficiently. Aamir Khan recalled how he came to be known as a perfectionist during filming his film Dil, for which Baba Azmi served as cameraman. One day, the crew assembled at Azmi's and Shabana Azmi brought tea for everyone. She inquired about Khan's sugar preference.

Azmi asked about the size of the cup and the size of the spoon. That story, Shabana Azmi told everywhere and mentioned how Aamir Khan would ask you the size of the cup and the spoon to measure the sugar in his tea. Hence, he became a perfectionist!?

2. Aamir Khan On How He Shot Viral PK Scenes

“On the shooting day, I wore those shorts. I came out with the radio. Raju had said no phones on the set. He hid everyone’s phone. I had to run in that scene. Till the time I was walking, it was okay, but when I had to run. When I would run, the shorts would come off because it was fixed by tape. I faced a lot of difficulty in that shot. I had to run fast, but I couldn’t. After one or two attempts, I told Raju, ‘Hatta yaar,’ I wanted to give the perfect shot. So I chucked it aside. I told everyone to go far behind the camera, and I ran.”

Aamir further added, “I used to think that it would be really weird to walk naked on the set. We are not used to it. I used to feel anxious about how I would do it. Everyone would be watching. I was feeling very embarrassed. I swear, when I came on the set, I just wanted to work, and my shot was getting messed up. So I told Raju, ‘These are unimportant things. What’s the big deal if you see me naked? We need to get the shot.’ I didn’t feel embarrassed at that time. I was also shocked that I did it.”

Revealing the same, he said,“That’s Nikhat, my older sister dressed in pink. Have you seen Pathaan? In the movie, there’s a woman who tells Shah Rukh Khan from now on, ‘you are Pathaan,’ and ties an amulet on his shoulder – that’s my sister.”

4. Despite Being A Muslim, Aamir Khan Talks About The Power Of Namaste

The actor said, “This is a story which is very close to me. We shot for Rang de Basanti in Punjab, and I really loved it there. The people, the Punjabi culture is full of love. So, when we went for the shoot of Dangal, it was a small village we were shooting in. We shot for more than two months in that location and that house. You won’t believe it, but when I used to reach there at around 5 or 6 in the morning, as my car entered, people would stand outside their homes just to welcome me with folded hands and ‘Sat Sri Akaal.’ They used to just wait to welcome me. They never disturbed me, never stopped my car, nothing. After my pack-up, when I would return, they would again be standing outside their homes and would greet me ‘Good Night.’ (sic).”

5. Aamir Khan Says He Refused To Play Bhagat Singh, But Why??

Aamir Khan said, "Bhagat Singh ji is a very important historical figure. He was a unique human being. What he did at the age of 22-23, we can’t even think about it. His courage. He was fearless. That’s a very rare quality. Its beauty was that you see a young 23-year-old on the witness stand, whose mustache has not sprouted, making such big statements. If I stood there, I was already turning 40 at the time, it wouldn’t have looked good. That quality of a young guy saying such things won’t come to me. That’s why I didn’t do it.”

“It’s been 11 years, but I am attending it for the first time because my last two to two-and-a-half years have been very tough. I was going through a tough emotional phase. During this time, I watched comedy with Kapil and it supported me a lot. You guys made me laugh when I was low and depressed. That is when I felt I should come here, ” said Aamir Khan.

7. When Reena Bit Aamir Khan During Labour Pain

On the episode, Aamir Khan revealed that while his first wife Reena was having extreme labour pain, she slapped him and bit him on the hand. He was heard saying “Let me give you an idea of what I notice. It was the day when Junaid was about to be born. Reena Ji was in labour. We were at the hospital. And as a good husband, I practised some breathing exercises. As the labour got intense, I tried to calm her down with it. But I got slapped, followed by, ‘Stop this nonsense!’ Reena Ji was in immense pain. She even bit my hand."
