With 593.1 crores in its domestic kitty, Pushpa 2 has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor＊s Animal (Rs 553.87 cr), Shah Rukh Khan＊s Pathaan (Rs 543.09 cr) and Sunny Deol＊s Gadar 2 (Rs 525.7 cr) to be the 7th highest-grossing Indian movie. The film is now eyeing to surpass Stree 2 (Rs 597.99 cr) and Jawan (Rs 640.25 cr).

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X and predicted that Pushpa 2 will gross Rs 425 crores by the end of its first week. He added, ※Despite an extraordinary run over the extended weekend, Pushpa 2 has stormed into the weekdays with a bang. The Monday numbers are nothing short of phenomenal. Pushpa 2 has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers along with Sukumar Writings. This second instalment in the Pushpa film series serves as a direct sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. It was released in theatres on December 5.
