‘Sounds like sh*t’: Internet finds Pushpa 2 song Kissik a ‘disaster’, labels Sreeleela ‘Samantha’s substitute’

Pushpa 2 song Kissik: The third single of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film was released at a grand event on November 24 but to only face massive backlash. Starring Sreeleela as the face of it alongside Allu, the item number was highly-anticipated but now the audience wants to better leave it unheard and unattended.

“I couldn't even get myself to listen to it fully. Sounds like generic TikTok crap,” a user wrote on Reddit which gained massive upvotes considering the song’s hook went - “Thappad Marungi Sala Thappad Marungi (I’ll slap you, I’ll slap you, you ra**al)”. The rest of the song’s lyrics also cringed the internet and it was infamously labelled “Wannabe Oo Antava Va”.

Sreeleela fails to top Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s craze

For the uninitiated, Pushpa’s first part featured a hit number ‘Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava’ which starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu dancing her heart out. The track was a chartbuster globally and the recently released Kissik was another attempt by composer DSP to recreate the magic but audiences feel he failed miserably - also because Sreeleela couldn’t save the cringe lyrics with her charm.

“Is that even a comparison? Sreeleela 10th class papa unnatu undi compare it to sammu she was so mommy in that song,” one Redditor wrote. Another one opined, “Im doubting the movie at this point.” The third user added, “Wow this sounds like shit to me.” “What a downgrade, Sreeleela was such a failed substitute for Samantha,” another added.
